Be careful: a little bit of designer perfume oils go a long way, and your steam iron will emit a fabulous fragrance for a very long time to come. You may want to purchase a second steam iron if you also iron clothes for children or a spouse.
Designer perfume oils are best stored in a tightly capped bottle, protected from extreme variations in light and temperature. Many designer perfumes come in an opaque container or dark glass container that protects them from the light. However, designer perfumes oils that come in clear or light-colored containers should be stored away from direct sunlight.
Whenever possible, use a spray bottle to apply designer perfumes. Using a bottle with a stopper or, even worse, using your fingers, to apply designer perfume oils mean taking the lid off and on, exposing the perfume to air, and weakening the fragrance.
